At a Lane United FC game, one may see Landon Sloan patrolling the midfield. Or possibly Luke Waters cutting off other teams’ attacks and helping hold down the defense. Maybe even Owen Nelson sprinting full speed up the sidelines to set up an offensive chance. These men are a large part of the Reds’ success over Lane County this season and years past. 

In the final match of their inaugural USL League 2 season, the  Lane United FC Women’s Team fell to first-placed Oly Town FC by a score of 4-0 at South Sound Stadium in Lacey, WA. 

After suffering a disappointing 1-0 loss to PDX FC at home in a match in which they controlled most facets of play, head coach John Galas, midfielder Landon Sloan, and Spaniard Hugo Rodriguez shared their thoughts of the match and feelings about the rest of the season. 

The Lane United Men’s soccer team lost 1-0 at home to PDX FC. In a game plagued by aggressive fouls and missed chances, the loss almost certainly puts an end to the Reds’ playoff hopes.

The Lane United Women’s Team is traveling up north for their final game of their inaugural USL W League season against Oly Town FC this Friday night.

In the inaugural season of Lane United FC’s Women’s Team, the arrival of Lauren Becraft, Briana Kubli, and Sydney Petersen add a trifecta of hometown talent to the field. 

Most of the way through an intense season, netminder Olivia Riddel has emerged as one of the cornerstones of the Lane United Women’s team. 

Following Lane United FC’s nil-nil draw at home versus Oly Town FC on Sunday afternoon, head coach John Galas, center back Callum Frogson, and striker Jalen Belong shared their thoughts on the match.
